[The reason why was obvious. Outside of the Fae King's Castle, they'd made the agreement that they would form their pact. The location and time chosen was more for convenience than anything. Others could surely sense magic in his apartment building and explaining what happened would be difficult.

It being late and by the Lake, Takame didn't have to worry about as much factors. Both of them could ask what questions they needed in a calm environment. And share their actual names. For as much as Takame disliked this Black Order, they had potent sealing magic to keep the Fae out this time.

[Hmmm, a text from that dragon man. Cu glanced at it before hopping up from where he'd been lounging and smoking.

Seems the man had come to a decision.

He shows up at the lake, lighting up another cigarette with his magic as he approaches Takame.]

[Indeed he did. Hearing Cu's voice, Takame turned to face him. He only approached just enough to be polite and heard clearly. He would say nothing about the cigarette, but the distance he stood said enough that he didn't care to be around it.
